Since I need a object-centered hierarchical database for my next programms, I have created this small wrapper that uses the flat relational MySQL database (via the DBI::MySQL perl-module) to become hierarchical.
The Mephistoles HTTPd has been upgraded to 0.6.4pre3 now, which supports SSL (https://...) via the Net::SSLeay perl-module. CGI/PHP support and POST/proxy-support has been improved as well.
Hi everybody!
httpd has been updated - after one year without any discovered bugs. Does that mean it's pretty stable... or am I simply pretty lazy?
However, I noticed there are really some crazy people out there that monitor this project: I'm still waiting for some bug reports, so I can improve those little proggies.
No bugs -> no releases!
Whatever... have fun!

Hi all!
Wanting to chat on IRC, I realized the need for installing identd on my computer. I quickly hacked a static ident daemon (it does no real username lookup but responds always with a pre-set name).
As always: Enjoy and send bugfixes!

Hi there!
I made a major code cleanup and bugfix in HTTPd. It supports now POST-requests and other CGI-related request much better.
The other projects have also been updated a little bit.
I'm very interested in your experience with HTTPd and which important features are still missing in your opinion.
