New version published. There hasn't been any 0.6.1 in the meanwhile, but apart from the new mental calculation sheets, lots of things changed:
the code passes flake8 tests (i.e. complies to pep8)
the tests are made using py.test (no more home-made autotest-mathmaker)
debugging and general logging is made using the standard logging module and configured in yaml config files (no more home-made debug.py)... read more
The python3 only version has been released.
The next one will be 6.1 and will include sheets for mental calculation training.
The next version (0.6) will be python3 compatible, but won't be python2 compatible any longer. It is not planned to support a python2 version, so far.
This version includes big changes in the structure of the program but not that many new features. It has not been tested extensively, seems to work but may be buggy.
The french website using mathmaker to create sheets is back online : http://mr.hainaux.net
Version 0.4.1 was released today, adding a new sheet (about converse and contrapositive of pythagorean theorem). The web site is being worked on and should be available before Christmas (I hope so).
Release of the 0.4 version today. Next step : make the online version alive again.
Heya, even if the web site hasn't been updated since a while, mathmaker is still being developed actively. A 0.3 version with lots of changes has been released yesterday ; a 0.4 is already being developed with new features (geometric figures).
Well the software structure changed a lot since the first release but it is not stable enough at the moment for a new release. See the current development page... I won't work on it before september again and the work during july was longer to do than expected so lots of things will be developed later than previewed (odt output...). The required python version changed to 2.5 and I also intend to develop under FreeBSD.
Mathmaker's website is now quite complete and won't be changed for some time. The current source code is released only for information, since the author finds it too ugly to suggest to anyone to work on it (too many things to correct and rewrite). Nevertheless a fresh pre-alpha version should be released around the 4/30
This first release includes all what's currently running under http://mr.hainaux.net
