Hello Katja, sorry for my late response. You have to delete the files manually. The reason is that maff-viewer just calls your browser and then terminates itself. There is no simple way to detect if these files are used at the moment.

It seem that maff files are still assigned to firefox. Please assign maff files to maff-viewer, not to firefox. maff-viewer is not a firefox-plugin.

You have called maff-viewer with out a valid maff file or without a file. A maff file is basically a zip file. If it is a maff-file, you can change the file extension from maff to zip. This file you can now extract manually and open the index.htm in the sub folder. If this do not work, it is not a maff file.

I downloaded v1.2.1 and maff-viewer works without glitches (so far). Thanks! The one downside I noted: when opening .maff files containing multiple browser-tabs, the viewer would only open one of the tabs auto automatically. It would be so great if the viewer opened all the tabs stored in the maff. Not sure if that's a problem caused by my machine's settings - or a feature still missing ;) Cheers
