#34 macssh quits on connect

since a security update on a debian system to
openssh-4.2p1-4, ssh connects to this host are not
possible anymore with macssh.
After username and password are entered, a macssh
window opens briefly, then closes, when connecting to
this server.
I'm not sure if I should file a report against sshd on
debian, but all other ssh clients (windows and older
versions of ssh under linux) seem to run fine, so I
suspect it's an issue with macssh.
This happens on a G2 machine.

We have the same Problem with an AIX 5.3 system after
upgrading to openssh_4.2p1. We could circumvent the problem
by switching off compression on the macssh side.
