Well folks, this is round #999 in the fight to take m2f 2.0 out of the alpha stage. I finally finished my master studies so I will do my best to devote some time to this great project. I’m trying to get George back in touch as well, and see if we can push the development forward.

Things have gone a bit quiet on the m2f front. George is busy with life these months, and I’ve been working hard on my master studies.
Nevertheless, I will try to move the development forward a bit, albeit not with the rigurosity and elegance of George’s software design. Code like hell activated folks! I built a “pda_mess” branch where I’ll start my work.
The goal: To have phpBB3< ->mail working asap. Hopefully later on George will be able to clean up the mess and integrate the development into the main “trunk” branch.... read more

The new beta version is really reaching maturity. All m2f users are recommended to upgrade, unless they are running a particularly vital or busy forum which must have no downtime.

Mail 2 Forum joins two separate worlds of internet based communication together. The phpBB web based bulletin board and other forum systems existed completely separately and isolated from existing email based mailing list or list serve systems. Each system operated independently. Separately, each system has its own advantages and disadvantages.

This version includes admin and user CP, and the full core functionality of M2F. Try it out!
M2F is at the latest stages of Alpha development. Core functionality is working, and soon we will have a stable release candidate.
