Hi All, I'm new the logicalloy software and have it up and running, but I'm getting stuck on adding a MS SQL database subscriber. I am pretty fluent with sql server, but can't seem to get the setup the schema and table structure needed. Does someone have a quick step-by-step to get this working or a pointer in the right direction? Thanks in advance! Joe |

Hi Kyle,
The latest version (1.0.12) should have fixed the wrapper issue. You should
see a package for mac, linux (both 32 and 64bit) and Windows. We've
successfully tested the 32 and 64 bit linux packages on the latest Ubuntu.
The mac package has been tested on 10.4, and the windows packages run on
anything greater than Win2k.
I'm not sure why the ant build isn't running for you. Looks like CVS
checkout didn't grab the ALE/lib directory.
Give the new package a try and let me know if you continue to have problems=
.
Thanks.=20

Hi,
I am a developer at Pramari, and we are developing an RFID emulator
called Rifidi. We use logic alloy quite a bit for testing, but I have
run into a problem. The newer versions of logic alloy (specifically the
versions greater than 1.0.10) don't seem to work with our alien reader.
So I'm doing some testing to try to figure out why, and I need to
install 1.0.10 on linux, but I'm having trouble.
I downloaded the source code, and tried to run 'ant -f build.xml', and I
got an error saying:
BUILD FAILED
/home/kyle/downloads/LogicAlloy/build.xml:293: /home/kyle/downloads/LogicAlloy/ALE/lib not found.
Then I tried to run the sh file after making the wrapper file an
executable, but I got this error:
Starting logicAlloy ALE Server...
/home/kyle/downloads/LogicAlloy/./wrapper: 1:

:
not found
/home/kyle/downloads/LogicAlloy/./wrapper: 2: Syntax error: "("
unexpected
after doing a 'file wrapper', it looks like wrapper is a mac executable.
How can I get this up and running on linux?
Thanks,
Kyle

Finally, I'm able to download logicAlloy ALE Server 1.0.11 today! :-) On 7/26/07, hezjing <he...@gm...> wrote: > Hi! > > Nothing is happening when I clicked on the logicAlloy's Windows > installer download link > (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/logicalloy/ale_1.0.11-win.msi?use_mirror=osdn) > except a blank window. > > I'm using Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6. > > Do you know what is the problem? > > > -- > > Hez > -- Hez |

Hi! Nothing is happening when I clicked on the logicAlloy's Windows installer download link (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/logicalloy/ale_1.0.11-win.msi?use_mirror=osdn) except a blank window. I'm using Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6. Do you know what is the problem? -- Hez |

Eddie, When I tried it this morning (the following day) I was able to get in to the admin page. I don't know of anything that I did differently except shutting down and restarting overnight. To answer your question: I installed version 1.0.10 on Win XP Pro running Java 6.0. Thanks for the response. Brian Edward Blazer wrote: > Hi Brian, > > "password" should get you in. Hi Brian, "password" should get you in. Which package did you download and install? I just tested the windows MSI and it worked as expected. Let me know if you continue to have problems. I installed Logicalloy and the service is running, the readme says the password is "passowrd" but it still gives an error that the username or password are incorrect. I don't remember putting in a username and the option to type one in doesn't show up. Am I missing something? Caps lock is not on in case you were going to suggest that. Thanks for the help, I am eager to give this a try. Brian |
