Locksmith - a password changing website / News: Recent posts

I developed the locksmith password changing site to help deal with a merger situation in which 4 "centralized" password systems existed, 2 Active Directory systems, and 2 LDAP systems.

All systems are searched for a user supplied substring for accounts, all matching accounts are then displayed with a check box for the user to select. A 'standard' password changing form appears below the account selection area. When the "change passwords" button is clicked some simple password verification and 'cracklib' routines are called, if those checks pass, a call to the actual password changing routines are done for each account selected. ... read more
