I work with hundreds (thousands) of audio files and need a way to search/sort (+ save list(s) of files/titles) by bit rate. Is there any way to accomplish this easily?

I think it's possible. I think there is no such column (I don't have a change to check it as I do not have windows), and espcially such information is not stored to the database so cannot search based on that.
