LinViex is a graphical programming environment for home automation
tasks. 

LinViex is released under the GPL. See LICENCE file for details. 

Installation
============

linViex is currently programmed and compiled with the open source edition 
of Qt version 5.0.0 and the gcc version 4.7.2 on a fedora 17 system.

As a target platform, where linviex applications should run, 
i use a raspberry pi with Qt version 4.8.2 and gcc 4.6.3 on 
a raspbian system. The source code also compiles on the pi
 

In order to compile LinViex, extract the archive into an arbitrary 
location and cd into the directory: 

> gunzip linviex-x.x.x.tar.gz

> tar xvf linviex-x.x.x.tar

> cd linviex-x.x.x

Then create the Makefile by running the qmake command on the .pro file

> qmake linviex.pro

Then start the compilation with make 

> make

For installation, execute with root priveleges the command

> sudo make install


Then, linviex should be installed. 

Running the program
===================

linViex is started by typing on a command line

> linviex [filename] 

The filename parameter is optional. 
The filetype of the linViex graphical programs has the extention *.lvp
