As of this writing in October of 2020, recent versions of Ubuntu LINUX do not like the way LAC automates handling of Mumble. Instead of simply changing Mumble channels, Ubuntu tends to launch multiple copies of Mumble, which proceed to "fight" with one another for access to the server.

LAC has a provision for this: You can disable all of LAC's attempts to automate use of Mumble by editing the "NetworkMode" attribute of your hidden ~home/.LAC/LacConfig.txt file. Add or subtract "4" to the current value there to disable or enable LAC's automated Mumble management.

For example, most users store "3" in that "NetworkMode" attribute. If you change it to "7", then LAC's Mumble management logic is disabled.

After that, you will need to manage Mumble manually, according to the general means in use by regular users of Mumble with other applicaitons. You may find it helpful to configure Mumble keyboard "shortcuts" to ease your access into your favorite channels of our Mumble Server. Here's a YouTube video clip with training on that subject:

Update: As of this writing in October of 2021, the latest versions of LAC do not suffer from this undesirable behavior on Ubuntu Linux. You should no longer have any need to disable LAC's automated mumble management on Ubuntu Linux.
