Data corruption under sbp2

While using a 1394 hard disk via the sbp2 module, I'm
getting data corruption (flipped bits) about once every
100-200GB of data transferred. For example, an md5sum
of a 60GB DV file will give a different result once
every 3 or 4 runs. The 1394 interface is using an NEC
uPD72874 chip, and the drive is a Maxtor OneTouch 200GB
1394/USB drive (0010B9/007020); kernel is 2.4.21 (can't
upgrade due to cryptoloop compatibility problems).

FWIW, this problem does not seem to exist in kernel
2.6.7--I've done some stress testing with MD5 and haven't
seen any errors.
