#489 Runner arguments don't behave the same as in command prompt

I'm trying to set up the runner plugin to run a search using Everything Search.

The everything command line is

everything.exe -search Foo

and running this from command prompt opens the everything window and shows the results for Foo. When I set up runner I input the path to everything.exe and in arguments I put

-search $$

However, when I try to run this shortcut from launchy I never get the same result as if I were running it from command line. An everything window pops up but I get an error about not being able to open a filelist with the name "Foo" but I don't get a search for Foo.

I realize that this problem could be with Everything, but since the command line works as expected I thought it could be something with how Runner is set up. Or something I am failing to understand in how to set up a Runner shortcut.
