Windows 7, some shortcuts do not use parameters

I have a couple of shortcuts on Win 7 64 bit, that are Internet Explorer shortcuts (FF is my default browser, and I have a couple of sites that must use IE to work properly)
For instance, this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.diku.dk
But, when Launchy launches said shortcut, it just starts IE, and doesn't seem to pass the parameters along, double-clicking the shortcut normally, works as intended.
I've tried modifying the shortcut to use 8.3 names (maybe Launchy has an issue with that), but Win7 seems to "expand" them.
I have the same problem, and mulitiple other people have problems.
This is very annoying because you cannot use a lot of chortcuts. For example I have "new mail person name", but the parameters don't get passed. If I open the chortcut from command line or double click in file explorer it works fine.
