the first field in the lists is mostly to short to display the columns content.

IMHO it would be a nice feature if the client could remember the column width

Please try r442, current implementation tries to resize so all fields are readable. Clients with small screens should be tested though. Can you try and comment on this?

it works fine for the lists which are displayed immediately without querying the form
