KontrolPack 2.0.4 is a minor feature release. A Better Update Manager is now available directly from the menu, a refresh button to update remote files and folders. Windows XP users can now run KontrolPack with windows start up as an NT Services and Linux users can run KontrolPack as an Unix Daemon.

The KontrolPack team is proud to announce the new 1.2.2 release :

Bugs related to network, as socket time out and other exceptions, has been corrected for the JKontrol server. There is also a new search features allowing to search keyword from the whole command results.

KontrolPackv1.0 is a stable release. But the whole project and idea is still a work in progress. Many improvements have to be made in order to get a truly functionnal and useful application.

Features planned for the next releases :

- NT Service and Unix daemon handling for the ShellKontrol client.

- Secure datas transfert between the server and clients using SSH.

- Allow users to save received datas directly from the server UI.... read more

This is a big day. The first release of the KontrolPack "KontrolPackv1.0" has today be uploaded on the sourceforge server. You can now freely get it from the project download page. I will set up the Web site and released other improvements as soon as possible.

february 15th 2008 : KontrolPackv1.0 development is now over. The first release of the program will be available shortly.
