The venerable Ace Jones has taken over the maintainership of kionjb. He has unofficially been filling this role for over a year, and now he gets the feathered hat too!

A new developer, steup, has joined the kionjb project. He is working on speeding up transfer to devices that use USB 2.0.

kionjb now compiles for KDE3. In addition, it uses sqlite to keep a permanent cache of the Jukebox's contents.

kionjb has been Debianized!
Check out the Files section for .deb releases in future versions.

This project is now alpha! As soon as I have all the functionality implemented (editing playlists/uploading tracks), I'll declare the project Beta! Please e-mail me if you're interested in beta-testing.

This project is currently pre-alpha, although I do have working code on my side. I'm going to import it to SF CVS very soon and release an alpha tarball. If anyone is interested in this project for early alpha work either as a developper or a user/tester please e-mail me!
