#4 Freezes when selecting Japanese string

I just downloaded KeyNote v.1.6.5. When I tried to
select a Japanese string, it shows the "KeyNote Error"
dialog box and freezes after several tries. Some times
the dialog box includes detail that is read "Unexpected
error: Access violation at address 0040317C in module
'keynote.exe'. Read of address 694C205F."

I use Japanese version of Windows 2000 with English
(U.S.) locale.
