#50 Prebuilt Windows installer version 7.6 crashes after opening .CHM

[MySource]

I downloaded the pre-built Windows version from the SourceForge web site, and ran the installer. Then, when I started the resulting kchmviewer version 7.6, it displays the main kchmviewer window, as expected.
If I now attempt to open a .CHM file, the correct contents and index appear for a few seconds, then the program exits (crashes).
