#11 Error messages don't appear correctly

Error messages don't appear when dialog is running.
They get plastered all over the window, and then get
overwritten once the next dialog box is displayed.

Suggested Resolutions:
1) Log output to file?
2) Clear the screen if we are running an external
command? (That way, the external command gets a blank
slate.)
3) Display the error in an --infobox?
