JRCAF Java Rich Client Application Faces / News: Recent posts

In the current milestone 2 release we integrated a new small demo application total in english. The framework has some new functions and some fixed bugs.

We don't release the demo applications in an executable binary format anymore. We have lots of downloads of the executables, but you don't see anything of interest in this applications. Since the JRCAF is a framework the magic is in the code.

The business trip application is somewhere lost in translation we are about to translate everything into english, but there are still lots of german pieces in the code.

The SVN Repository has been restructured and an new version of the JRCAF and the demo application has been tagged.

The JRCAF have been broken up into several plugins.

To work with JRCAF you now need a JDK >= 1.5, eclipse >= 3.3 and a SVN-client.

With subclipse your steps are:

1. Import
2. Other -> Checkout Projects from SVN
3. Create a new repository location https://jrcaf.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/jrcaf
4. Wait...
5.1 Select JRCAF/Base/trunk/org.jrcaf
6. Wait...
7. Next>
8. Select workspace location if needed. ... read more

PDF and OOffice documentation added to doc download (not just javadoc anymore).

The documentation is still in german and in an early state.
