#88 what does "save as template" do

in 4.0.2...

it seems nothing.

Often I click on a template that has been instantiated
in a patch, and click on "save" thinking that I am
modifying the original template. ..... but I am not.

I thought doing "save as template" would overide the
original template with this modifyed instantiated
version (I dont know if this is logically possible ...)

OR ....... would be nice if you could open a
sub-patcher and do "save as template" .... and the
subpatcher would be saved under the first found
configured template directory... AND the sub-patcher
would then also be replaced by an instantiation of that
new template. (again, may be too illogical ....... but
would be nice!)
