Yes, it's true! Almost literally after ages the next release is ahead in the near future, in the mean time grab the latest pre-release.

It is called CLIDE and is a major release with lots of improvements, new internal architecture and Jinni Prolog in a new version, now with open source license as well!

Hi Folks,

My time schedule has been somewhat too ambitious now that there is development platform change ahead from Windows to MacOS which will consume a bit of time.

But I aim at the end of July / beginning of August to complete and deliver the full release of the Cassandra version of JinnIde.

Great news! I have been proceeding steadily onwards and I am pretty sure to be able to deliver the next JinnIde release, roughly according to the following schedule:

1.Easter: JinnIde Cassandra pre-release 2

2.End of May: JinnIde Cassandra full release

Although a lot of testing has gone into pre-release 2, complete regressive testing will only be part of the full release.

Pre-release 2 will come with a thoroughly
updated documentation to reflect the latest developments.... read more

Cassandra is reaching stability and completion!

It has taken a longer time to figure out the most stable and reliable ways. But it's the quality that I am after so don't mind if it takes a bit longer, that's why there's a pre-release!

Cassandra - the next version of JinniConsole is about to be released!

This is a great release surpassing former
enhancements by far. Cassandra supports the following improvements and extensions:

- Beanshell-based GUI support for JinniDoc,
Loq4Jinni, class, module and rule creation
- new project architecture
- ProjectViewer and Template plugin support
increase ease and effectivity
- new menues
- bug fixes for JinniDoc
- installer-based distribution in various flavours
- extension support eliminates problems with .pro
in newer Jinni versions... read more

This is a big step for JinniConsole because many big features have been added such as:

- JinniDoc, an automated documentation system in the spirit of JavaDoc
- Loq4Jinni, an automated logger system in the spirit of Log4J
- multithreading: let Jinni do the work while you continue developing!
- more refined tracing
- several GUI improvements

If you use or want to learn about it, this is a must for you!

For example, JinniDoc and Loq4Jinni, two development tools that I am sure will be of great value to anyone who likes to develop in Jinni with an automated documentation system and an effective logger.
