Hello all,

The latest version of Jini-tools has been released on SourceForge:

This version includes a new Lookup Service lister from Paul Lamere 
and integrates the advanced Service Writer's Toolkit from Keith 
Edwards (an improved version of the SWT included in his Core Jini 
book).  Both new tools require Jini 1.1 alpha to function.

The jini-tools suite has also switched to using the pure Java Ant 
build tool (http://jakarta.apache.org/) rather than the system of 
makefiles and unix tools that made up the previous release.

The Jini Tools sub-project of the "Out of Box" project was formed to 
create tools for Java Jini setup, troubleshooting, and development. 
The original idea was spawned from the "Out of the Box" project at 
www.jini.org. Discussion will be held on both the normal Jini tools 
communication channels available through SourceForge, as well as 
the jini-users mailing list sponsored at jini.org. Source and 
community development will be conducted on SourceForge.
