#23 jext freezes, if xclipboard is active

if the xclipboard application is active, and I try to copy
and paste within jext, jext freezes completely. The only
way to run jext is to close xclipboard before startiung
jext. I sometimes use xclipboard to exchange text
between other java applications and X11 apps.

Is this bug relative only to Jext or it appears even with other java
software in similar condition? With which exact version of the
JDK?

I did not use xclipboard anymore since submitting the bug. But
now I tried again.
I think the behavior has changed a little bit. My jext-Version is
3.1pre2, build 03.01.00.00, Java Version is j2sdk1.3.1-02b
(Blackdown) and j2sdk1.4.1 (Sun) (same Problem).

Before jext freezes, there is an error "CLIPBOARD selection
conversion failed" from xclipboard.

Other Java apps (jbuilder 4, jedit) did not have this problem,
IIRC. Playing around now with xclipboard and jedit (latest) I can
freeze jedit too (but without that error message). So it may be a
java problem.

I've noticed something similar with Jext3.2pre1 and KDE 3's
Klipper(with Mandrake 9). Maybe if I have time I'll try to find the
bug. I was running jdk1.3.1_01
