Under Windows, if I enable ``Ethernet Broadcast'' as
an option to find my empeg, JEmplode hangs at the
``Finding...'' dialog. It never seems to find the
empeg, even if I also include the ``Specific Address''
that it's at. I never hear the little hard drive
access that seems to happen when it is successfully
found. It never even gets to the place where I could
press the ``Rescan'' button. If I disable the
broadcast and leave the address, it works fine, but I
have to exit and restart JEmplode first. Still
running Sun's 1.3 JRE.

Are you using the latest
http://www.batmanthehorse.com/jemplode/jemplode20.jar ? Is
your Empeg a 2.0 kernel?
Thanks

I have the same experience with "specific address". tcpdump
shows jemplode talk to the empeg, then JEmplode pops up the
"No Empegs were found" dialog. emptool from same machine to
same IP works fine. JEmplode is 2.0b1; Empeg is 2.00b11 with
HiJack v199. Host system is RedHat 7.2 Linux.

I also tried this with the jemplode20.jar references in the
other comment, with no more success.
