Hi, I have come across another situation where the line breaks unexpectedly - word chars ended with punctuation mark, followed by one of quotation marks "“ or ‘" and a closing brace (concretely "...know.“) She ..." -> line breaks after fullstop - can be also "…-:;,?!" instead of fullstop - with “) on the next line. I tested the following chars "]}><)›»«‹" as substitution for the closing brace, and all caused the wrap unexpectedly. Without the closing nonword character the wrap is ok.

Hi, I am adding another instance that I came across: in case of "...text „–text...text.“", the line breaks after „– or „— and the text is on the next line.

Fixed the original problem in r21620. But the fix is based on some
casual assumption. Please test the daily build.
I'm not sure what is the problem in the additional case. Is it really
unexpected to break a line after en dash (#8211;) or em dash (#8212;)?
If it is, since I'm not a native user of such characters, please give
some authority (URL) about why it is unexpected.
Hi kazutoshi,
thanks for the fix, it works ok so far with the latest version. If I come across some obscure glitch later, I'll post it again.
As for the en dash and em dash, I got somewhat ahead of myself - I looked for the standard usage on the web and it seems that the examples I posted were only my personal preference, not standardized use of the characters, so it would be better to ignore my previous post.
Thanks, tvojeho
Thank you for testing and clarification. Now I'm updating the summary
and closing.
