There have been some key bug fixes commited to cvs recently and this is leading up to a bug fix release.
The last releases have been maintenance releases. No new functions are really be developed. I want to use this opportunity to ask for features that might still be missing from jConfig. This release fixes two bugs and includes the first version of the jConfig.pdf.
jConfig is now licensed under the BSD license.
We have figured out that the LPGL might put restrictions on the use of jConfig.
A lot of goodies inside, or at least at feels like it to us. We have full-fledged Category Object implementation now. The EventListener mechanism is more refined. We hope the Interfaces are useful. A few reported bugs were fixed with this release. Use the bug system here to report any new bugs. Auto-reload is also back. Don't ask why it was gone. Somethings are better left unsaid. The jar file in the 2.1 version was empty so here is a new release. We apologize this.
The maintenance release addresses some NullPointerException issues for some atypical usage of jConfig. No API changes.
We have removed the JBoss2.4x dependencies and now the MBean should run in any JMX enablded application
We are pleased to anounce that jConfig is nominated as "utility of the year" at developer.com.
The current version is not compatible with JBoss3.0. By the end of the week we will release a version of the MBean to fix this.

jConfig is now integrated in JBoss. There is a MBean available together with jConfigv1.3 which will be released within the next week.
