Hello TCK team, We are writing an implementation of JSR-80, and want to test it with the TCK. However, the required Cypress EZ-USB CY3671 is too old and seems to be out of sale everywhere (at least we could not find it). In a mail from 2008 on this board, you have written that it is possible to use a CY3681, but this one seems impossible to find as well. The closest kit we have found is an FX2LP - CY3684. Could this kit be used to run the TCK? Or could you recommend a currently available hardware that can be used instead? Thanks & best regards, Nikolay Kristev (INST-PSY/ESW1) Bosch Software Innovations EOOD | 48 Vladajska Str. | 1606 Sofia | BULGARIA | www.bosch-si.com<http://www.bosch-si.com> Tel. +359 2 95235-81 | Fax +359 2 95235-17 | nik...@bo...<mailto:nik...@bo...> |

Yes, it should be possible to test with that model if you program it yourself according to the TCK document. Hi experts, I have a javax.usb implementation and want to test it with TCK. The TCK document indicates it requires CY3671. But I have only CY3681 in my hand. Is it possible to test it with CY3681? Or I have to modify the firmwares for CY3681? If so, is there any guideline? Thanks, Fenye |

Also, I think I am getting the original TCK hardware back, so hopefully I can run the TCK test cases once I get it. But still, it should be easier to run the TCK without all the specific requirements. Ok while I'm working on getting the TCK hardware back...didn't someone else on this list perform a TCK test of their own implementation a while ago? Ok, back to the implementation. So can you test hotplugging to see if it works? Is there an easy build environment/process for others (e.g. me) who want to build and test it? So you have it working on Windows? Excellent. Are there changes that can be checked into CVS? I can give you CVS access to check in changes. The latest releases of the other packages also need TCK testing; I'll see what I can do and get back to you. That would be great, if you have one. I wish there was some way we could test without it, but short of running in a virtualized environment with a special virtualized Cypress device, I can't think of any way. I just made several updates so that javax.usb should work with the latest 2.6 kernel now (using the new /dev/bus/usb nodes). All this is in CVS and I am planning on creating a release, but we have a problem with the TCK. I no longer have the required Cypress device, and I don't particularly want to get another one, although it is a possibility. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to update the TCK to avoid the need for the Cypress device? |

Excellent, it sounds like your implementation is conforming to javax.usb and unless anyone on the list has objections I believe you can consider your implementation an "official" javax.usb implementation. Here is our product site:http://www.ricoh.com/esa/index.html We will export our product including javax.usb. If javax.usb was developed in America, it corresponds to EAR99 that is the export law of the United States. Hi, I tested base test suites on J2ME CDC1.01 implemented on BSD and passed TCK. [Note] 1. Test tool In the TCK document, it requires Cypress Development Kit CY3671. However, we can't find CY3671 on the market, because Cypress has a new Kit CY3674, which replaces it. I tested TCK using new one because of above reason. I have modified TCK source codes for CY3674 because some of the source codes depend on CY3671. I hope to add CY3674 into the TCK document. 2. BSD version Interrupt endpoint write feature is not supported in version 2.1. The feature is supported since version 3.0 or later.
