Filenames such as:

02-I’ve Kept A Hold On My Life.mp3
and
05-Gesso’s Guitar Song.mp3

appear on the Tivo Screen as:

02-I?ve Kept A Hold On My Life
and
05-Gesso?s Guitar Song

Any attempt to play these tracks either in sequence or
specifically causes a failure.

If playing in sequence, for example if the folder
containing these tracks is selected for play, when the
track is reached the prerecorded "This stream is
currently unavailable, please try again later." message
is output repeatedly. One must manually move to the
next track.

If one attempts to play one of the tracks specifically
by selecting it from the list and pressing Select or
Play, the Tivo seems to be momentarily confused and
then returns to the track list with the name of the
track now replaced by the name of the previous track
(i.e. the name of the previous track appears twice and
the selected track name has disappeared from the list).
If one tries to select the "fake" named track for
play, the stream unavailable message is output.

My Tivo unit is a Pioneer DVR-57H running software
version 5.2.2-01-2-275. I can't update to 7.1 and move
to Galleon because it hasn't been released for units
with DVD recorders as yet.
