V 2.1
I selected about 10 hour-long items to transfer. The
connection got interrupted within a few minutes.
JavaHMO marked the items as transferred even though
none completed.
Uninstalled, deleted folder, Reinstalled.
Got a fresh list, scheduled items to transfer overnight.
Wife accidentally closed the application by closing the
main window after about 8 items moved over. (argh)
Got some good transfers but the items that didn't
transfer do not appear in the Now Playing list and the
Now Playing list is stale, showing the list as it was when
I started the transfers.
Is there a way to force a refresh on the Now Playing list?

(By the way, the autotransfer feature is fantastic. You
guys came up with a really great feature.)

There are several bugs in the 2.3 beta 2 that affects the
ToGo functionality, including displaying the incorrect
status for recordings. This will be fixed in the next beta.

You shouldnt have to keep the configuration GUI open; the
downloading is done by the server part of JavaHMO.

I am having the same problems, so I understand. BUt I found
that if you delete the recordings.xml file and then stop/start
the service it will refresh the list and allow you to start
    downloading again.

Not much help, but a little easier than un/reinstalling the
    whole thing.

The bad thign is that it appears to lose the downloaded
    history file as well.

This could explain what I saw -- I have a Humax TiVo
downstairs and to get to the computer I have to transfer it
to the TiVo 2 and then from there to the computer. JavaHMO
doesn't seem to show shows I have transferred from the Tivo
    2. I expect that this is just that they are newer than my
Now Playing list that JavaHMO has.
