#187 Field values are not pre-filled during update

After clicking on Issues ID from dashboard for on of the issue: The fileds are not loaded with the latest of its value. This forces to select the values (especially for mandatory ones) again by the users. It will be very good and user friendly if all the fields loaded with the latest values (even the status and current assigned user, etc) so that the user can change only the values which are required. Pls refer the sample screenshot.

How did you set up those fields to be editable? If I add custom fields to a project, they are not editable.

if you give edit permission (Mandatory or Optional) for the role, then you will be able to edit. Pls refer the screenshot.

Thanks, I had never noticed that this was even possible.

I'd rather leave that as is. I think it makes sense to make those required during issue creation, and then optional during editing. That way, you only need to set the values that change.
