#187 Problems with BPSEC tests

Hello, I downloaded and compiled ION-4.1.2 and am running the tests present in /tests/bpsec on Ubuntu 20.04.5.

I am seeing warning messages like the following:

Deliver payload with BCB (should receive)

: Stopping ionsecadmin.

Malformed security policy command detected. Failed to parse JSON.

In addition to the warning messages, I am seeing that the tests result as successful and I think maybe the result should be the opposite.

Also, doing a capture with wireshark-4.0.4 I see that the bundles do not have the BCB block so my guess is that since the security policy cannot be parsed correctly, the BCB is not being added to the bundle.

Do I need to configure something else before running these tests?
Should I compile ION with some option?
Is there something else I am missing here?

Yes we are aware of some error with configuring security policy. An update to ION 4.1.3 (January/February 2024 time frame) should fix this. I will close the ticket for now but please retest it for ION 4.1.3 and let us know the results.
