Version 1.9 is out. It duplicates the shell script version of install-log, except it is written in C. The interface is a little nicer, through use of getopt and some careful consideration. Go ahead and upgrade--it should work with your old databases.

Version 2.0 will certainly be a landmark. It will have a new database layout, automation (or at least assistance, depending on your preference) of package installation, upgrading, and removal, and the ability to log more information than just file lists, such as an upgrade history.... read more

I'm rewriting install-log in C. This is step one in a master plan to take over the world. People with good ideas and megalomaniacal tastes wanted. ;^)
