Release 0.4: Support for lvm2 and md added

The new release supports lvm2 and md devices - which a stack depth of three (lvm2 over md over lvm2 over md over lvm2).
init4boot was updated that it can be used with Debian 5.0.

Release 0.3: Support for Fedora Core

With the beginning of this release also Fedora Core (currently version 9) is supported. Therefore it's now possible to boot also Fedora with iSCSI and multipath.
This is a Fedora-only release - for Debian packages use version 0.2 - with the same functionality.

Release 0.2: Packages for cient and standard initramfs

Starting with this release, the Debian packages are build against the stable.
A ready to use initramfs, documentation package and client package were added.

Release 0.1: man pages and documentation added

In this release the man pages were added. These provide detailed information about using the package.
Also the requirement and design document was finished: now all requirements are written down.

New Web Site

Today the new Web Site was brought online. It gives a short introduction and summarizes the facts for the init4boot project.

Initial Release: Version 0.0.1

Todays the first release of the init4boot package was made. It is fully functional for iSCSI boot for a Xen Guest System.
Main features:
* one initramfs for all configurations
* extensible with plugins
* supported boot type: iSCSI
* supported boot variants: multipath, network

First Light: First boot with scripts from init4boot only

Today a major milestone was reached: it is now possible to boot only with tools and scripts from the init4boot project.
Now working:
* one generic initramfs image for all systems
* simple and extensible plugin interface
* fully configurable behavior of all boot types and boot variants
* booting from iSCSI with or without multipathing
* possibility to provide configuration data with tftp
