There are two new features, which combined together allow to show an album folder inside any website using the iframe tag.
- Implemented a new jsp-page, /im/td/l/album/i/albumimageexplorer.jsp
which can show the image explorer without left hand menu and header.
Thus, it can be included in any website, using the iframe tag.
- For the LogonPublicUser action, a new parameter "redirectTo" has
been introduced. This allows to specify a redirect dynamically
through the URL. '&' in the redirectTo need to be replaced
with a '.', the LogonPublicUser action will replace the '.' with an '&'.
After a couple of rounds of bug fixing, the 0.9.4.8 release is one of the more stable releases. Icons are now available in the image lists, folder lists and folder explorer. IMS.Server now also supports the latest MySQL release, 5.0.
IMS.Server now supports the concept of "host accounts".
Similar to the "client" or "mandant" concept of SAP's R/3, the
"host account" feature allows multiple hosts (=persons) to host, manage
and publish their images. Each host can determine his own set of
settings (users, image sizes, image sources, access lists, classifications)
according to which he\she manages and publishes his/her images.
This release also features the neccessary functionality to manage hosts.
IMPORTANT: the database schema has changed and is not compatible with
release 0.9.3.2. Please contact rolf@managedimages.org, if you require
a migration of your database.
Ho ho ho...
The Christmas Edition (0.9.3.2) of IMS.Server has been released. While the last releases (0.9.3 and 0.9.3.1) strengthend the support and stability on Linux, 0.9.3.2 focused on import/export functionality for classifications and upgrading the logging service of IMS.Server.
Enjoy!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

IMS.Server is now as version 0.9.2.5 available and
supports Linux. The build and installation scripts have
been enhanced to generate a tar.gz file and the
respective deploy scripts. I have tested it on a
Fedora Core 2 distribution. This release contains
a couple of bug-fixes, including major UI improvement
of the registration component.

Hello everyone,
I have one test instance up and running, so that you can get a feeling
how IMS.Server works.
Just click on http://www.managedimages.org/ims.server.
Use user "test" and password "test", or just register your own user.
Any feedback is highly appreciated!

IMS.Server is now as version 0.9.2 available.
I have added the support for collecting viewing events and provide reporting based on these events. This new release allows the user to list all viewed images as a hitlist (in order ov no. of viewed) and see more statistical details per image.
Another improvement is the classification of images, folders and albums. The classification process now opens a new window, which improves the navigation of this process.

The first release 0.9 is now released.
From a functionality stand point of view, IMS.Server 0.9 is almost complete. What I look forward is to get some feedback about what functions should be added.... read more
