Imagination crashes when attempting to save

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 as well as Budgie 20.04. Imagination crashes when I attempt to save imported pictures, just a few as a test. I installed it using Software Center and then uninstalled it and reinstalled it with Synaptic. This made no difference. V 3.5 downloaded from Ubuntu Software Center.
Hi, can you provide the output from the terminal please?
Please provide instructions on how to do so.

Still having same problem. Too bad. I really like this program.
I had the same problem using Ubuntu 20.04 and V3.5 from the repos. It would happen consistently even with a small number of photos (5) imported. I invoked from the command line to capture the terminal for you and it works just fine!! i.e invoking from apps crashes invoking from the terminal does not.
In case it helps here is the terminal output I used a -v switch thinking it might give me a version number from the cli.
kim@Inspiron-16-7610:~$ imagination -v
Using ffmpeg for encoding.
Testing ffmpeg abilities with "ffmpeg -filters" ... setdar found!

The ** Message: 11:24:56.548: . with nothing after it was generated when I did the first save or save as. Using just Save for a first time use did not give me a file save dialogue although it did when invoked from apps - go figure??
From the apps invocation Imagination crashes after you select a name and path and hit the save button in the top right of the file save dialogue.
I'm only 10 minutes into using this but it looks like it will do a great job for what I need. Thanks.
Cheers
Kim
