I am trying to load the OS over VirtualBox. The installation was fine but i could not start the OS. Im getting a blank screen with cursor blinking on top.

It is in webm format and you can view it in vlc. I am also expecting that live iso boot is working properly in your vm. I normally use 16 MB for display RAM.
Reinstall your vm as per screencast if required.

This is bare minimum requirement for iso https://sourceforge.net/projects/iiot-gateway/files/27_july_2020/live_iiot_gateway.iso/download which is the latest release
Also, did you install GRUB on the primary disk of VM? Let me know.

PLease find the error that i got while trying to run chronograf.
Do not run chronograf, telegraf or grafana binaries after hdd installation
since they are already running at the background.
This is similar to windows services that run after start.
