ID3Sharp is a .NET-based class library for ID3 tags, written in C#. It supports all ID3 versions (ID3v1, ID3v1.1, ID3v2.2, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4).

A development package for v0.2 has been created, which will contain more frequent, less stable releases of the code as it moves along its way to a stable version 0.2 release.

Version 0.2 also represents a move to .NET 2.0. All subsequent development will be taking place on v0.2, for .NET 2.0. Bugfixes may be backported to v0.1 if there is sufficient demand or support (e.g. someone else submitting the fixes).

Downloads of ID3Sharp have really taken off (relatively speaking). While I would like to think that everyone's needs are being fulfilled by my bug-free software, I doubt that is the case. Please let me know through any of the various methods available (forums, bug reports, feature requests (RFE), e-mail) if you have any problems, questions, or features you'd like to see.

Release Candidate 3 for version 0.1 of ID3Sharp has been released, incorporating some fixes for bugs in previous versions. It has a known bug with Unicode handling; the fix for this will likely be released in RC4, which will hopefully be the last release before version 0.1.... read more

An initial version of the project has been released. The release captures the project in its current incomplete state, just to get something out there. After the code is cleaned up a bit and documented, version 0.1 will be released.
