Improved gameplay and bug fixes:
- Camera now aligns with terrain while running for a more natural feel.
- Player automatically swerves around trees
- Arrows leave a trail when shot to make it more visually appealing
- Improved/fix a few wolf behaviors (tree collision, fleeing, etc)
Wolves are now animated (whereas before they roller-skated along merrily). Wolf behaviors have been improved. They wander around more naturally and flee when one is killed nearby. Also added tree collision detection
Finally you can do something game like in the game. Player now controls a bow and arrow and can go around shooting arrows at the wolves. When all wolves are killed, game ends. Polished it is not, but getting there!
Added some dummy (non-animated) wolves roaming the land in packs and a mini-map to show their location. Next version: the wolves are going to get what they deserve (they are evil, so it's OK)
It's alive!!! After weeks living in a little virtual corner of my cheap laptop, project Hunter finally got its own SourceForge project page. All the source code has been imported into the hosted SVN repository. May it live a long, prosperous life.
