the http plugin will work on an intel mac when mail is
forced to open using rosetta. to do this: right click on
mail - get info - click: open with rosetta
now the previously installed plugin is functional.

im naving the same problem im using the intel and when i changed to rosetta its
now telling me i need to subscribe to hotmail plus any ways around this

What's rosetta? right-click on mail? I don't get "get info". It isn't an option.
