I just got a note from a fellow who said his
company had acquired the manufacturing
rights to the 3Com/Vicam and they were
going back into production.

I'll leave the details up to the fellow who
contacted me.. i.e. if he wants to make
a wide announcement, I'd rather let him
determine the timing.

But this is good news!

Looks like there has been some terrific
progress made on this project.

According to this article (http://yahoofin.cnet.com/news/0-1006-200-5207113.html) 3Com are about to drop their webcams. If true this is a bad thing because they're good products, but a good thing because you might be able to pick one up cheap.
