I'm trying to compile cinelerra-2.1 (video editing for Linux) on OpenBSD 4.2 i386 (stable) and I get stuck here:
$ sh configure
configure[47]: >&/dev/null : illegal file descriptor name
configure[64]: >&/dev/null : illegal file descriptor name
configure[83]: >&/dev/null : illegal file descriptor name
*** GCC 3.2.2 or greater is required. Download it from gcc.gnu.org
configure[112]: >&/dev/null : illegal file descriptor name
Giving up and going to a movie.
$
The pkg_info output shows that GCC IS installed:
$ pkg_info
…
gcc-3.3.6p6 'GNU compiler collection': core C compiler
…
Here is the configure script, if it help…
------------
#!/bin/sh
# configuration is being done in a script because starting with GCC-3.2
# the compiler flags are changing too much between minor releases to detect
# with Makefile scripts alone. For now it just tells you if you have the
# prerequisite compilers.
