Hi folks,
I updated to Meteo 4.0.1 a week or so ago. Since then, I’ve frequently looked at my menu bar, only to find Meteo has gone missing. It appears to be crashing in the background. I’ve attached the log I located - I hope it helps. (For now, I’ve gone back to 3.5.2).
I am also having daily crashes with 4.0.1. I did not see any related ips files, but I will upload the meteorologist.log file which indicates it might be crashing after a 500 response from weather.gov.
Thanks all. I am working to figure this all out.
You may want to try the latest beta at https://sourceforge.net/projects/heat-meteo/files/Meteo/Meteo%204.0.2/

Version 4.0.2.b3 didn't seem to help. I tried to attach another log file, but it's too large now (161MB, even with gzip -9) to upload.
I can confirm this behavior. After Mac goes to sleep and then wakes up, Meteo is always gone.
All,
I just posted a new beta (.b4). It should fix many problems.

So far, so good! I've had 4.0.2.b4 running for 3 days with no issues.
Oops, I take that back. My mouse happened to move near the display and I saw the spinning beach ball. So, while it didn't crash, it wasn't updating. The log file is filling so fast with errors it got too large to upload here, even with gzip -9. I have tailed the last 500 lines of the log file and will upload them here.
@All
A fix was put in place late last week. Please delete Meteorologist.app, re-download (https://heat-meteo.sourceforge.io) and restart Meteorologist.app. Others report the problems have been resolved.
I've had it running for a week and can confirm that there have been no further issues.
Thank you!
:)
