Hi ,
I am new this Product .I have a sequence of questions before i start
implementing this pacakge .
1 .The first thing what i understood is ,This prodcut can be used
only for windowds.
It will check the parameters of windowds like cpu utilization,disk
space etc .
If i am not wrong i need to install this prodcut on all the servers
that i need to moniotor.
For acheiving this what all the prerequistes that i should follow
2 .After installing the product on all the servers ,I need to have a
html (kind of page )
where i need to have consolidated view of all the servers (windowds
servers ) say for every 2 min getting updated eg: Server
status disk space cpu utilization etc parameters
Server1(windowds) Up C:5MB free :20
E:2MB free :4MB MB 40%
Server2(windowds) Down C:5MB free :20
E:2MB free :4MB MB 40%
This kind of view i need to have .For acheiving this what all are
required ?
Does i need to install a Database for achieving this ?If yes How ?and
where ?
Apart from the above requirement ,on htMl page i should be able to
add a unix machine just checking for Up or down status .It should be
some thingl like below
eg: Server status disk space cpu utilization
etc parameters
Server1(windowds) Up C:5MB free :20
E:2MB free :4MB MB 40%
Server2(windowds) Down C:5MB free :20
E:2MB free :4MB MB 40%
Server 3(Unix ) up
If the unix server changes it's state (i,e up or down it should send
notification to the concerned person )
Can we acheive the above thing .if yes please help me out .
I would be really greatful to all of you .

This version contains all the plugins (except Check File System) and the setup package has been customized with new icons and bitmaps; this should be the latest alpha version before publishing the official beta release. There are no health monitor log entries associated with the test email. I've double and triple checked the e-mail configuration. See attached. Installed on 2 Windows XP PRO machines - was not previously installed on these machines. Have not tried on my windows 2000 machine where I have version 2.1 running |

Hello, I uploaded on web site the first alpha release of HealthMonitor 3.0, as you can see: it has totally rewritten and it's still incomplete (import/export are not complete, database logging and some check plugins hasn't been developed) but there are many exciting features: - every check is a distinct plugin and everyone could create personal plugin - the interface has been changed for a new version - source code is object oriented - check plugin could monitor remote machine. All the source code is available on CVS as usually. Please test it and let me if something is wrong or if you have any other specific request.
