Windows and peazip

A popular Windows application to unpack tar files is peazip.

However, some Windows (8) users reported problems when trying to unpack recent HEALPix tar files (Healpix*.tar.gz) with it.

If this is your case too,

• try dowloading and unpacking Healpix*.zip instead, OR

• try alternative tools such as tar, 7-zip or TarTool as suggested at https://wiki.haskell.org/How_to_unpack_a_tar_file_in_Windows
