Hazard/Haphazard project is a bit sleepy for the moment, both me and Sfera has real life catching up and we've taken a break until we get back our inspiration. We intend to pick up the pace later and then we have a 3D client in the pipes ;-).
Hi all!
Haphazard has just gone through a major refactoring and we thought we should warn all users of the Haphazard engine.
Basically, we have split Haphazard in half, making an "engine" part and a "implementation" part. The engine has been named hazard and is an engine for simulated worlds. A new instance of Haphazard has been created and released to the public. New gameplay and some new stuff (AI! Path planning! Stuff! ^_^;;)
The Haphazard team releases version 0.1.1 of Haphazard. This version fixes the known bugs of version 0.1 and introduces new functionality in the form of a fog of war and an enhanced inventory.
Haphazard is a computer roleplaying-game. This is a release with very restricted gameplay (though there is gameplay.).
Haphazard version 0.1 released!
This release features:
Major enhancements of the graphics engine! Revolutionary inventory and items system! Subworld functionality!
The Haphazard team proudly presents the silly release v0.0 of Haphazard. The release demos the current state of the Haphazard engine and is fully playable.
Even if the activity meter says 0%, we're very much alive thank you. The Sourceforge CVS statistics doesn't work and therefore the activity is measured on something else I can't lay my finger on. To keep up to date, check version.txt och todo.txt in the CVS repository!
Version 0.0 is in the pipes! Expect it not too far in the future.
We're working on our first release which will probably be an isometric roguelike. The current state of things is that we have an alpha gaming system and an alpha graphics engine and working hard.
For more information on the progress of Haphazard, please check the version.txt in the CVS.
