The Halo-Extension to Semantic MediaWiki is now called "SMW+". We just released version 1.0 of SMW+, which is _not_ identical with version 1.0 of the Halo Extension.
The following features are available with version 1.0 of SMW+:
* LDAP installation support
* Access Control Lists (ACL)

* Whitespaces in path name (Windows)
* Several minor bugfixes

As of today, we offer a user mailing list for the Halo Extension. The purpose of this mailing list is to give users a possibility to exchange their experiences with the Halo extension as well as other relevant information.
The list will be monitored by developers of the extension in order to provide answers to questions that could not be answered by other users.

The developers of the Halo extension are looking for developers or users that would provide translations of the language files for the Halo extensions. Currently, English (en) and German (de) are available.
We would highly appreciate if you would like to provide a translation in your native language. To do so, please contact mnitsche@sourceforge.net.

SMWHalo 1.0 based on SMW 1.0 and MW 1.12 is finally released. You can install it from 3 zip archives (Windows or Linux) or from a self-extractable file (only Windows) which is very easy to do. Just a few clicks and you've got a running halowiki!

There is a patch for SMW on the download page: patch_smw-1.0beta. It fixes the problems with Property pages. Just extract it in your MediaWiki directory. The patch is now also included in smw-1.0beta release. Thus, new installations do not need this patch.
