I have been using this a little bit on the Zaurus. I
was thinking about writing my own until I saw this. I
like what you have done here. One problem I have been
able to find, though. When I open large texts (e.g.
Josephus' War of the Jews), I run out of memory and
the app crashes. Would it be possible to rewrite to
allow for a "sliding window" view into the text where
only a certain amount of the text would be contained
in memory at any one time?
I would be willing to help. I have installed the
development stuff on my laptop (except the cross-
compiler), but my C++ skills are very rusty. Anyway,
I hope you see this.
Thanks for writing and releasing this project.

I have been experiencing this same problem, under similar
conditions. I am also using the arm version on a Zarus, so
far with just the text for Dumas' Twenty Years Later. I
usually have to disable fast load on everything and
sometimes have to drop to a term and do a little ps'ing and
manual killing to free up enough memory to get the text to
load. Also, often when I get the text loaded OK, I get
another low memory complaint when using the jump to bookmark
feature. I would say this memory issue is a fairly big
usability problem with the software.
