Actually, I've been writing nothing the last month because of three reasons.
First, my job in commercial company needed all my attention and effort.
Second. You might hear something about "Orange revolution" in the Ukraine. Two weeks I spent on the main street of the country, it was really great!
At last, I've noticed that the document and the whole program can be simplified and generalized. It takes some time to "be pregnant" with this idea, but it's really worth.

It seems the ice has begun to break!
New release includes:
1) better redraw with double buffering and paging;
2) printing to postscript file or device;
3) guitarstudio files are compressed by gzip that gives reasonable size for large XMLs;
4) several bugs fixed: cursor motion during playback in linux and so on.
Next steps will be done towards:
1) property pages both for document and tabulature;
2) printing to an image; this could be useful for high-quality GDI-printer;
3) more sophisticated document elements.
