I've just checked the source code and noticed that GxVibe mono and stereo using a couple of static variables. That is bad and may lead to the behave you noticed.
They need a complete rewrite.

Ok thanks for letting me know.
What are my options for vibe in the meantime? I really need one for my system, but rkr Vibe is a crazy CPU hog and none of the other vibes seem to work or work reliably. Maybe there's a distortion pedal with a built-in vibe I could use (and turn down the distortion)?

I'll rewrite the needed parts, but that may take some day's.
It may be that I need to ditch the mono version, but I definetely could repair the stereo one.

Hey so I found gxtremolo and I think it does what I need. And uses less CPU than rkr Vibe.
Any thoughts on the similarities between gxvibe and gxtremolo? (Technically, vibe should modulate the frequency and tremolo should modulate volume. To my ears, rkr Vibe and GxTremolo both do volume. Don't know about gxvibe.)

It also crashes ardour when you reduce a dual-instance down to 1 instance like this:

I've gotten this twice now and can't reproduce with any other plugin.

Any news on this bug?
Love the sound when it works. Best sounding uni vibe plugin in my opinion!
Would be awesome if it was fixed 🙂.
